Draft 0.1 (draft) — this document is pending professional legal review and its wording is not final. It describes how Snapooth actually works today, but should not yet be relied on as a finalised legal agreement.

Terms of Service

Version 0.1 (draft)• One document covers the Snapooth app and all Snapooth web surfaces.

1. These terms, and how you accept them

One set of Terms of Service and one Privacy Policy covers the entire Snapooth platform — the mobile app and every Snapooth website. If you have an account, your acceptance is recorded against it. If you use Snapooth without an account (for example, as an event guest), you accept these terms by continuing to use the service after being shown them, and that acceptance is recorded against your device.

When we update these terms, account holders are asked to accept the new version at their next sign-in. If you choose not to accept, your account is restricted — you can still sign in and delete your account, but you cannot create or access events or make purchases until you accept.

2. The service

Snapooth provides event photography software: a self-service photobooth that runs on a tablet (booth mode), a contributor camera that lets guests add photos from their own phones (snap mode), photo delivery to guests by QR code, and online galleries and management tools for event hosts.

3. Your account

You can create an account with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Accounts may be restricted or quarantined where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms.

4. Purchases and payments

Snapooth is purchased per event. The full price of your chosen tier and any add-ons is always shown at checkout before you pay. Purchasing before your event runs costs less than activating tiers or add-ons afterwards. Payment is processed by our payment partners; Snapooth does not store your card details. Completed transaction amounts are recorded permanently and exactly as charged. Branding changes purchased for an event (such as logo removal) are applied permanently to that event and are non-refundable once applied. For refund requests, contact support from your account dashboard.

5. Your content, and host responsibility for guest contributions

Photos and content captured at your event belong to you and your guests — Snapooth processes them to provide the service. If you enable guest contributions for your event and choose not to require guest sign-in, you (the host) acknowledge and agree that:

  • any photo, message, or content contributed anonymously to your event is contributed at your direction and under your control as the event host;
  • you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy on behalf of your event, inclusive of all anonymous contributions made to it, and you are responsible for ensuring your guests are aware that photo and content sharing is taking place;
  • Snapooth acts solely as a processor of content contributed to your event and bears no responsibility for the conduct, identity, or consent of anonymous contributors — that responsibility rests with you as the data controller for your event.

Guests who contribute while signed in to their own Snapooth account are accountable for their own conduct under their own acceptance of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Snapooth to capture, store, or share content that is unlawful, or to harass, defraud, or harm others. We may quarantine events, photos, or accounts that we reasonably believe breach this section while we investigate.

7. Photo storage and deletion

Cloud tiers store your event photos for the retention window included with your tier (shown at checkout), with paid extensions available. When the retention window ends, photos are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. All remaining event data is permanently wiped 90 days after your event. Offline tiers store photos on your own device only. It is your responsibility to download everything you want to keep before your retention window closes.

8. Liability

Snapooth is provided as-is for the event you purchased. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
